Farewell gift

43 Completed quilts & blankets

Quite often, the Solera Sew What Quilters band together for a “sew-in”, to benefit a specific cause.

Whether it’s at Linda Legried’s house to make pillowcases for US soldiers in Iraq, or at the club house to create the delectable raffle quilt -- these ladies get quite fired up to achieve their goal.

This time, on Feb 12, they threw open the doors of the club house and invited residents to join them in “Operation Love”. This effort was aimed at creating quilts, knitted and crocheted blankets for the Linus Foundation. By day’s end, they had completely finished these 43 quilts and blankets, shown above.  (click for details)
