For the February 2007 drawing, the theme was ‘Sports’, and Linda Legreid took first place with a Phoenix Suns quilt. (shown below)

In October 2006, Jeanette Woods, won third prize for her ‘Trains’ challenge quilt. (shown below)

Previous years’ winners were Caroline Palmer and Barbara Hanson.

The next Project Linus Quilt challenge will be held in October 2007, at Fountain Hills. It is a Jungle theme for sewn quilts, and crocheted or knitted blankets can be created using the colors of your favorite jungle animal (black and white for zebra, orange and black for tigers, etc).
